Harley von Hank is a delightful 8 month old Dutch Shepherd mix.This puppy boy is brimming with life -- exuberant, confident, playful, very athletic --  and friendly with both humans and other dogs.  He still has a lot of puppy silliness in him, so will require his new owners to be patient and indulge him with his fluffy toys and bones that he loves to carry around.  He is doing extremely well fitting into his foster home, which includes 4 adult dogs, including two male GSDs.  He submits to the authority of adult dogs and is not an alpha personality, but is definitely an extroverted and very self-confident.   This brindle-coated boy will probably by 75-to-80 pounds at maturity.  His high energy and shepherd “smarts” require substantial stimulation and exercise; this guy is no couch potato.  Harley is popular at the local dog park, where he gets along with all dogs.  He wants an active owner who is into daily jogging/running and hiking and, ideally, has another large dog who likes to play.  This boy will benefit from some basic obedience training; a great start could be the free, group obedience session with a professional trainer that comes with his adoption.
